Suzanne Scott MRICS

Senior Planning Surveyor

Suzanne is a qualified planning and development surveyor with 20 years commercial and residential experience. Her specialty lies in advising clients on value-added property development realisation strategies, specifically in relation to redundant and under-utilised assets and land.

Her last position was as Acting European Corporate Real Estate Director for ICI where she was responsible for the delivery of the EMEA portion of a $200 million value realisation strategy. This encompassed a significant amount of value enhancement from planning led brownfield regeneration projects in order to deliver sites to market. As well as working in several European countries and Australia, Suzanne has significant experience of regeneration projects closer to home in London and the South, the North West and Scotland.

Suzanne’s experience encompasses both small (from 1 acre) to large scale (140 acres) projects. As a Development Surveyor at Thames Water Property, one of the most satisfying projects was the delivery of the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust Centre in Barnes in conjunction with the W&WT and Berkeley Homes. It was a challenging site to get planning permission on, but a fine example of how even the most difficult of sites can be made to yield value through the right planning led approach.

She has an in-depth knowledge of planning legislation, regional commercial / market awareness and a clear understanding of the development process, policy issues and the environment.
