REGENERATION

ST. EBBAS & WEST PARK HOSPITAL, EPSOM

• The St Ebbas and West Park sites delivered in excess of 700 award winning new homes with 20% of energy generated from on-site renewable sources. Both sites included important heritage assets and were located on the edge of major conurbations. The project included aligning a wide variety of statutory and local stakeholders including Historical England, Natural England, the Environment Agency, Surrey County Council and a number of local Resident Associations.

• John Foddy acted as lead consultant assisting the joint venture client team in securing the project from the HCA, providing planning and masterplanning advice, securing a number of complex planning permissions and scheme variations. Development of both sites is now well underway with the new homes all being of a contemporary style meeting extremely high sustainability standards.
